DJ Geribo

Writing has been one of DJ's passions for as long as she can remember. With a BA in English, she worked for many years as a technical writer. In the early 2000's, after leaving the high-tech industry, DJ began painting becoming an accomplished fine artist, and combined her love of writing with her love of painting by illustrating her first children's book, Eddie Easel and the Case of the Missing Green.

In 2014 she completed her first novel, a book for pre-teens, The House at the Top of the Trees. Since then, she's published an additional six books across multiple genres including fiction, non-fiction, children's, short stories, and memoir.  Her latest book is both a novel and a collection of literary short stories - The Mart - published in December of 2023.  DJ is currently working on another collection of short stories and another novel and we can't wait to add these to her growing list of published works.

DJ is available for speaking engagements on topics involving the creative process of becoming and being an active author, self-publishing, and enjoys inspiring elementary and middle school children to develop a love and appreciation for books, reading, and writing.
